Legends & Biodiversity – Príncipe’s Island is a multidisciplinary project that interrelates local biodiversity and oral tradition (fundamental components of Príncipe’s Island heritage) and is the result of the invitation to participate in the Floripesfera - I Transatlantic Cultural Biennial.

Crossing oral heritage with science and artisanal/artistic tradition, within the Island community and the diaspora, the richness of the region is highlighted in an overall vision that simultaneously seeks to raise awareness of the use of art as a tool for exploration and discovery and to enable local human resources in pertinent scientific, artistic and science communication subjects.
